The Centre of Best Practice in Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Suicide Prevention (CBPATSISP) is Australia’s leading authority on Indigenous suicide. The Centre aims to reduce the causes, prevalence and impact of suicide on Indigenous individuals, families and communities.

Australia's first Royal Commission into Family Violence was completed in 2015. The Commission made 227 recommendations to reduce the impact of family violence in our community. The Victorian Government announced on 28 January 2023 the implementation of the final recommendations.
