Description
This one day workshop will focus on understanding behaviours of concern, building skills and developing strategies to effectivelyrespond to behaviours of concern in mental health context.
This event will cover:
- • Understand the range of conditions which may cause behaviours of concern.
- • Identify how your own attitudes, behaviours and communication styles can contribute to behaviours of concern.
- • Understand the importance of self-care and debriefing when working with people displaying behaviours of concern.
- • Identify early warning signs and how to de-escalate behaviours of concern
- • Provide workers with the opportunity to engage in skills practice and to learn from other practitioners.
