Trauma-informed Practice Evening Lecture Series

These lectures provide an opportunity for practitioners working with people from refugee backgrounds, to extend their understanding of integrated trauma-informed approaches that promote trauma recovery.
Each lecture presented by Dr Ida Kaplan, focuses on a particular element of an integrated approach to trauma recovery . Participants can attend individual lectures, based on their interest, or register for all three as a complementary series

Eligibility criteria

Suitable for a broad range of practitioners interested in trauma-informed practice, including practitioners, leaders and academics working with individuals, families, and communities from refugee background and others impacted by trauma in the areas of settlement, health, child, youth and adult mental health, housing and homelessness, early years and education services, youth services, family support services, family violence, sexual abuse and assault services, and justice.
