Join the inTouch Sector and Community team as they facilitate a presentation and discussion with inTouch Case Manager, Asha. Asha will present an overview of the various mental health challenges experienced by victim / survivors and discuss strategies on how to support women from diverse backgrounds. In the current COVID-19 environment, there has been a significant increase in the number of family and domestic violence incidents being reported. Asha will bring the collective knowledge and day to day experiences of case managers who provide one-on-one case management to victim / survivors, providing women mental health support.

Participants will also have the opportunity to ask questions, share stories and learn from each other.

Eligibility criteria

Professionals working with women, particularly those from migrant and refugee backgrounds. This includes specialist family violence workers and ethno-specific, faith based or settlement services.
