Please wear comfortable clothing! John Julian, the Manager of the LAMPS Cluster, has specialised in mindfulness training, anxiety and stress management training for almost 20 years and self-compassion training for a decade. Many staff have also recently attended his Occupational Mindfulness course. Learning how to work with stress. The session will consist of:

This event will cover:

  • An overview of stress and its impacts
  • Self evaluation of stress experience
  • Some mindfulness and self-compassion theory & practices
  • Thought management and relating to our thoughts
  • Pacing and balancing ourselves; managing priorites
  • The day will include some brief practices involved in becoming more stress immune.
