John Julian, the Manager of the LAMPS Cluster, has specialised in mindfulness training, anxiety and stress management training for almost 20 years and self-compassion training for a decade. Many staff have also recently attended his Occupational Mindfulness course. Learning how to work with stress. The session will consist of:This event will cover:
- An overview of stress and its impacts
- Self evaluation of stress experience
- Some mindfulness and self-compassion theory & practices
- Thought management and relating to our thoughts
- Pacing and balancing ourselves; managing priorites
- The day will include some brief practices involved in becoming more stress immune.
