Description
Participants of this two-day workshop will learn how to conduct a Single Session Family Consultation (SSFC). The focus of this workshop is on engaging with and attending to the needs of family members in service contexts where the primary client is usually an individual (for example mental health, AOD, youth services, and others). SSFC combines the principles of Family Consultation with those of Single Session Work in a model that enables practitioners to make the most of each encounter with families. The workshop equips participants with skills in facilitating productive and efficient meetings with families that can be adapted to fit the context of the workplace and client group.Trainers
