This webinar will discuss the role of healthy public policy in mental health promotion and explore how efforts to tackle the social determinants of mental health can promote mental wellbeing, prevent mental health conditions, and support recovery.

This event will cover:

  • Describe the mental health continuum and explore the factors that influence our mental wellbeing.
  • Discuss the impacts of income inadequacy, unemployment and homelessness on mental health and wellbeing.
  • Explore how social policies have been used to target these factors and promote MH and wellbeing, and supporting recovery.
  • Discuss the role that mental health promotion practitioners have in advocating for positive change
