Description

This Blended cours covers key theories and frameworks relevant to culturally safe and responsive group work development. Participants will develop the skills to design, plan, and implement a psychoeducational group work program.
Involves self paced online learning, and a follow up interactive onsite workshop.

This event will cover:

  • Best practices and strategies for tailoring psychoeducation group session/s
  • Evidence-based material that can provide clear education and resources to group participants
  • Skills to plan, design, and deliver psychoeducational groups
  • How to facilitate psychoeducational groups for a range of ages and stages

Eligibility criteria

Group work facilitators and those interested in advancing into this area of practice, including bicultural workers, community liaison workers, community health workers, community development workers, education and early years professionals, community workers, social and youth workers, psychologists and counsellors.
