Description
Mindfulness is about drawing our attention to the present moment with openness, receptiveness and interest.This course brings people together to explore and experience a range of skills, techniques and ideas about how to live mindfully. There are many ways this can be done, and this course will show you ways to connect with all five of your senses through interesting, fun activities and practices.
This course runs in two parts! Part A is 1 session long and covers an introduction to the topic. Part B is 3 sessions long and goes into more detail.
You MUST have done Part A to go to Part B.
This event will cover:
- understand what mindfulness means and be able to articulate this in your own way
- have participated in mindfulness practices and developed skills in mindfulness using your senses
- have considered the benefits and challenges of mindfulness
- have considered how different support tools may compliment a mindfulness practice
