Description

This training explores the important components of family safety contact work in all programs that work directly with men who use violence. The skills and information support practitioners and managers to align with state and national minimum standards
by drawing from the NTV Implementation Guide. Working with men using family violence requires thoughtful consideration of the ways in which
the experiences and safety of victims, including children are central to service delivery. This training is informed by NTV’s extensive policy, research, and direct work with men using family violence to increase participants’ knowledge and confidence in the vital practice of family safety contact work.
