Description

This training will provide an overview of suicide prevalence and risk factors for autistic people and introduce participants to suicide risk assessment tools adapted for this population. Lived experience, clinical expertise and case examples will be incorporated in the training to support participants to develop their knowledge about how to assess and respond to suicidality in autistic youth.

Eligibility criteria

Mental Health Clinicians and other professionals such as psychologists, social workers, speech pathologists, occupational therapists, paediatricians, psychiatrists and registrars, working with children and young people with autism.
