Description

This online presentation aims to provide an overview of the challenges young people with ASD may face throughout their sexual development. Inappropriate Sexual Behaviours are discussed and understood through an ASD lens. Finally strategies to support sexual education and minimise inappropriate sexual behaviours in young people with and ASD are discussed.

Eligibility criteria

This training is designed for Mental Health Clinicians and other professionals such as psychologists, social workers, speech pathologists, occupational therapists, paediatricians, Headspace clinicians, psychiatrists and registrars working with children and young people on the ASD spectrum.
