Description

This online workshop will consider the interface between Autism Spectrum Disorders and the Law. The relationship between Autism and different types of offending will be discussed, including more recent developments such as ‘lone wolf’ terrorism. The workshop will also consider criminal responsibility and Autism Spectrum Disorders and whether there is a case for diminished responsibility with regard to offenders who are on the spectrum with reference to recent Court decisions.

Eligibility criteria

This workshop is for Mental Health Clinicians and other professionals such as psychologists, social workers, speech pathologists, occupational therapists, paediatricians, psychiatrists and registrars, working with children and young people with ASD.
