3Di is a computer-based program used to diagnose autism and related disorders in children. Its main features include:

This event will cover:

  • computes the severity of features associated with a diagnosis of autism
  • computes levels of behavioral adjustment
  • establishes comorbidity across the full range of child psychiatric disorders
  • generates a comprehensive report suitable for parents and referrers
  • liked by parents
  • excellent reliability and validity; criterion validity established in relation to the ADI-R

Eligibility criteria

This training is designed for Mental Health Clinicians, Child & Adolescent Psychiatrists, Paeditricians, Psychologists, Speech Pathologists, and Occupational Therapists.

Participants are required to 'Bring their own device' (BYOD) for use of the licensed software. Participants will also need to be available for one (possibly two) 45 minutes booked installation session the week prior (week starting 11th July). You will require your own laptop, NOT an organisational device, due to licensing issues. Your device must have Microsoft Windows (Windows 7 or later) and Microsoft Office installed (Office 2010 or later). The 3Di software will run on Apple Macs, but only by installing a virtual machine such as Parallels or VMware Fusion - on which a Windows operating system and Microsoft Office would also need to be installed. Windows 7 and Office 2010, or later versions are required.
