This training is an introduction to the creation and use of Genograms. A genogram is described here as a tool to help efficiently describe a client's significant relationships for use in a clinical file.

This training has been designed for practitioners working in mental health, alcohol & other drug, and related services.

This session will cover:

This self-paced e-learning takes only one hour to complete and will enable you to create a genogram that efficiently describes your client’s important relationships.

At the completion of this module, learners will be able to:
- Describe the benefits of genograms in the context of providing per
- Recognise when to use genograms
- Use genograms conventions & symbols to diagrammatically represent a persons significant relationships
- Respectfully gather the information from a person when drawing a genogram.

This module will note explore the therapeutic use of genograms.
