Self-directed online training

Event description

Quality service provision is the ultimate aim of all mental health practitioners and organisations. To deliver high quality client services, professional care needs to be prompt, appropriate, up to date, and in line with known best practice. To this end, quality improvement measures and evidence-based practice act as tools to support clinical practice and to inform and strengthen organisational protocols.

This topic aims to introduce the concepts of quality improvement and evidence based practice (EBP), and to discuss ways theory and evidence can be translated into practical and effective approaches. The information contained within this topic is designed to support and enhance the work already undertaken by mental health professionals, and to ensure that organisational policies and procedures are in keeping with current best practice models.
