Description

An introductory level training, it Includes three on-line modules released Monday 30 May and a full day live (face-to-screen - F2S) session. It is an interactive and practical professional development designed to assist clinicians understanding of clients who experience mental health and substance use/addiction issues and the impact of experiences of childhood and/or other past or current trauma(s) on their health, wellbeing, daily interactions and functioning.

Eligibility criteria

This training is introductory and appropriate to a wide range of work roles. It covers basic clinical treatment options and puts trauma in a context that provides clinicians with a trauma-informed focus to better understand challenging emotions and human behaviour that clients who have mental health and substance use/addiction may present with.
