Description

The Framework for Mental Health in Multicultural Australia is a free, nationally available online resource which allows organisations and individual practitioners to evaluate and enhance their cultural responsiveness. It has been mapped against national standards to help meet your existing requirements, with access to a wide range of support and resources.
The Framework is designed to build capacity amongst mainstream mental health services to work effectively with people and communities from culturally and linguistically diverse (CALD) backgrounds. It is self-paced and helps you enhance your cultural responsiveness. It consists of four modules and two self-reflection tools.

The upcoming webinar will be focusing on Service Module 3: Working Together to Promote Mental Health in Multicultural Communities
This module explores effective engagement with multicultural communities and stakeholders, in addition to mental health promotion and suicide prevention in a multicultural context.

Please note, Embrace is a national framework. For mental health sector assistance in supporting the mental health of diverse people and communities of Victoria please contact Victorian Transcultural Mental Health (VTMH).
