Description

Is there MORE THAN ONE way to think about mental health?

Our NEXT ONLINE COURSE is a mini-version of our “In Someone Else’s Shoes” course!

In this mini-course, we take a step back to look at the big picture – what is mental health and what are the ways we can think about it? We do this by exploring different ideas and perspectives and wondering if there’s any one right way to think about it… If you’re interested in learning about new ways of thinking but also sharing your own perspective, this course is for you!

NOTE. The full course is usually 6 hours. This is mini-course online which is 3 hours.

This event will cover:

  • recognise that there are different ways of understanding mental health and wellbeing
  • recognise the importance of choice and preference in regards to language when talking about mental health and wellbeing
  • explore the development of one perspective and the change in that perspective over time
  • recognise the benefits and challenges of developing new understandings by taking elements from different frameworks
