Description

Relapse prevention planning is a vital element of mental health care and recovery. But how do you do it and why is it so important? To explore this further please join a panel of guests for a one hour interactive and reflective session on Zoom.

This event is an opportunity to ask questions directly to the panel and reflect on the Back in the Saddle (BITS) model presented in the Relapse Prevention webinar held in 2020 (a link to the webinar will be provided upon registration). It is highly recommended that you watch the webinar prior to the reflective session and prepare some questions or reflections for the panel.

The approach outlined in the webinar has a focus on relapse prevention for psychosis but may be adapted for use across the health sector for people experiencing relapses in mental health or substance use.

Relapse prevention planning that is created from the experiences and wisdom of the consumer is an essential guide for the person experiencing mental ill health, their families, support people and care teams.
