Description

Covers topics including psychotropics commonly used in mental health, indications/actions/side effects of antipsychotics and antidepressants, long-acting injectable (depot) antipsychotics, drug-drug interactions and key considerations when prescribing antipsychotics and antidepressants; and an overview of some newer antipsychotics and antidepressants.

Eligibility criteria

This is a free event designed for members of the public clinical mental health workforce in Victoria, (staff employed at Area Mental Health Services, Forensicare or mental health staff from RCH). For example, a social worker or consumer peer worker working in mental health at Austin Health. Staff from MHCSSs, ACCHOs, AOD or other partner organisations may sometimes also attend.
