This seminar is dedicated to providing important tools for workers in mental health that promote professional and personal resilience.
The following topics will be covered:

  • • Mindful grounding – a process which enables us to stay present with work situations and with clients, to manage our responses
  • Time and culture management – identifying processes which either support or hinder the wellbeing of our clients, ourselves and
  • • The use of language and non-verbal forms to communication to increase our effectiveness by promoting the outcomes we seek
  • • Working in teams – sharing in teams, creating effective forms of communication, resolving disputes and promoting cooperative t
  • • Being clear about our professional tasks, role, values, ethics, and the strengths and limitations of our particular profession
  • • Other specific tools for self-management in addition to those already mentioned.
