Description

This training is a partnership between Nexus Dual Diagnosis Consultation Service, St Vincent's Hospital and Eastern Health Lived Experience.
This is a blended training package that includes three on-line modules and two live zoom (face-to-screen - F2S) sessions. This training is an introduction to the key principles of working with clients who experience mental health and substance use/addiction issues.
Participants are required to complete three online modules prior to the first live session. Online modules will take approximately 90 to 120 minutes to complete
Live sessions are Wednesday 19 October and Wednesday 26 October 10am - 12pm.

Eligibility criteria

The training encompasses tools and information to assist workers new to the community sector who are interested in reframing and enhancing their work in the area of mental health and substance use/ addiction.
