About The Training
This interactive 4-day training is for people wanting to start and/or (co-) facilitate a Hearing Voices Support Group. The first two days will cover an in-depth understanding of the Hearing Voices Approach and the second half of the training will cover Voice Profiling & the setup tools & strategies for getting a hearing voices support group started.
This training is ideal if you:
- Want to better understand the experience of hearing voices & recovery
- Are interested in a new approach to working with individuals on their voices
- Want to change your own relationship with voices
- Work with voice hearers in a clinical or community setting
- Are a friend or family member of a voice hearer
- Want to setup a Hearing Voices Group
- Want to advance your facilitation skills for running a Hearing Voices Group
Training Endorsement
The Hearing Voices Approach training (first two days) are endorsed by:
- the Australian Association of Social Worker for 14 hours of CPD
- the Australian College of Mental Health Nurses for 11 CPE points

20th & 21st October - Hearing Voices Approach
27th October - Voice Profiling
28th October - Hearing Voices Group Setup Facilitation
Times
9.30am - 3pm daily (includes breaks)
Content will be delivered in 2 x 2 hour blocks on each day of the training.
