The Infant Mental Health Program at the Royal Children’s Hospital is offering a two day introduction to training in Infant Mental Health.

Teaching faculty lead by Associate Professor Campbell Paul & Dr Megan Chapman, drawing on a multidisciplinary team of expert infant mental health clinicians.

The training aims to introduce clinicians to:

The theoretical and practical foundations of infant mental health.
Observing, engaging and assessing infants.
Understanding common presenting problems in infancy.
Case formulation and approaches in intervention.
The training is designed for the clinicians in health and other sectors, including:

Paediatricians
Psychologists
CAMHS/CYMHS clinicians
Psychiatrists
GPs
Social Workers
Nurses
Midwives
Speech Pathologists
OT’s
Physios
MCHNs
Mental Health clinicians
Perinatal mental health clinicians
Others engaged in therapeutic work with infants and families
Clinicians working with high risk infants
