Description

This online presentation aims to provide an overview of challenges young people with autism may face throughout their sexual development. Sexual behaviours are discussed and understood through an autism lens. Strategies to support sexual education and to promote a positive approach to sexuality is also discussed.

Eligibility criteria

This training is designed for mental Health Clinicians and other professionals such as psychologists, social workers, speech pathologists, occupational therapists, paediatricians, Headspace clinicians, psychiatrists and registrars working with children and young people on the ASD spectrum.
