DescriptionThis training will discuss how the challenges of autism can be exacerbated by the expectations of mainstream schooling, and seeks to provide key learnings and therapeutic approaches to support autistic young people in the various stages of school refusal. The current model of the In2School program will be presented along with a case discussion. There will be an opportunity for questions and further discussion.
Please note this training is planned to be in person at the Mindful Centre. If due to COVID-19 the workshop is unable to be conducted in person, participants will be given the option of a refund or participating in this workshop as a live webinar. Other costs associated with attending in-person training remain the responsibility of the participant if training is cancelled. In finalising bookings, preference will be given to Victorian participants. Please see the Mindful website for further information.
