Nicola is a registered psychiatric nurse and a clinical educator at Austin Health. Nicola worked for 15 years in the drug and alcohol sector. She had various roles including managing a primary health service for people with multiple and complex needs including homelessness, substance use disorders and mental illness. Nicola is a passionate advocate of recovery focused care, trauma informed care and the Safewards model.
