This webinar demonstrated a simple to use relapse prevention planning tool known as the Back in the Saddle (BITS) model. The BITS model supports consumers by talking them through a timeline exercise to explore past experiences and context of mental ill health to try and discover early warning signs. The outcome is a valuable living document that illustrates the triggers, early warning signs and strategies for the person experiencing a relapse in psychosis.

The webinar guides the viewer through the benefits of relapse prevention planning and illustrates how to do a plan in a 17 minute demonstration. The viewer will learn how to create a valuable, simple relapse prevention plan following this model. That can be used not only for psychosis but mental health and substance use issues.
