Self-directed online training

Event description

discovery college is a mental health education program that usually run courses for mental health professionals, for young people, for mums and dads and friends of people with mental health stuff going on - basically everyone!

We don't think there is one "right" way to think about mental health - we take a topic - like SELF-CARE - and look at it from different angles - different people's experiences, different kinds of professionals, different cultural or spiritual angles - in the hope that we hear something that changes how we think about mental health.

Our version of this online is discovery convos!

Every week we’re inviting different people to share in a conversation about what they have learned about a mental health topic. This season we are exploring RESILIENCE.

WHEN: Tuesdays LIVE @ 7pm on Instagram @discoverycollegeconnect

WHO IS IT FOR?: It’s for you – maybe you want to learn more about mental health for yourself, maybe you work in the mental health sector, maybe you know and care about someone who struggles with their mental health. There will be something for everyone.

You might hear from a social worker or a psychologist who has worked with young people.
Or a parent who cared for their kid while they were going through a rough time.
Or a young person who went through that rough time themselves.
