This topic aims to equip practitioners with practical strategies for working with CALD (people from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds) consumers and their families. It addresses a community development approach to understanding how different CALD communities understand and manage mental illness, allowing mental health workers and services to better understand the specific needs of CALD consumers and communities. This topic should be completed in conjunction with its sister topic Cultural Awareness.Eligibility criteria
