RCMH register for consultations

The Royal Commission website is now live and a timeline announced. The Royal Commission will be visiting communities throughout Victoria in April and May 2019 to hear about people’s experiences with mental health services and their suggestions for change.

The Royal Commission’s community consultations begin on 5 April. For a full list of community consultations and to register your interest in attending, go to https://rcvmhs.vic.gov.au/whats-happening-now.

Consultation sessions are open to anyone. This includes people living with mental illness, their families and carers, people working in the sector and those who have an interest in improving mental health outcomes.

There will be sessions for people living with mental illness, their family members or carers who may prefer to attend a dedicated discussion, as well as roundtables on local issues.

The Commission is currently not taking submissions. Calls for submissions to the Commission's terms of reference are scheduled to begin in mid-April 2019. More information can be found by visiting the Royal Commission’s website at www.rcvmhs.vic.gov.au
