The ‘Peering into the Future’ forum by Victorian Dual Diagnosis Initiative (VDDI) will highlight the impact and importance of consumer and carer lived experience in improving service delivery to people with Mental Health (MH) and Alcohol & Other Drug (AOD) issues.
This forum, aimed at MH and AOD workers, will honour and explore the essential work of consumers and carers. Advocates, consultants and peer workers among others – all with lived experience themselves – will represent the many different facets of consumer and carer service improvement.
There will also be information stalls and resources, with networking opportunities throughout the day.
