Previously a forensic accountant, I moved to Australia from California in 2017 and switched careers to work in mental health. I'm very excited to join the CMHL team and support our growing lived experience workforce.
I have primarily worked in state-funded Community Mental Health Services and NDIS-funded services across different roles, including direct service, learning and development, research and team leader roles.
I'm passionate about promoting socio-economic and health equity, and I use my lived experience and intersecting identities to inform my work. Of particular interest to me is the intersection of culture, race, gender and mental health.
I hold a BA in Business Economics (Honours) and am also currently completing my studies to become a clinical psychologist.
Outside of work, I enjoy spending time in nature, sports and live music, as well as eating, dancing and laughing with my loved ones.
