I am delighted to join CMHL as a Family/Workforce Development Coordinator and to work alongside Jacqui Hill from the Family/Carer perspective and David Barkley and Eila Lyon from the Consumer perspective.

I have lived experience as a carer for young family members with mental health challenges, neurodivergence, and disability. In our home, we embrace disability and neurodivergent pride. I bring to the CMHL, lived experience in mental health, disability, and the NDIS.

I have worked as the Carer Consultant in the 0-25 age group, for eight years at a regional health service. I am passionate about young people and their families/carers and improving the mental health system to support them. I believe all recovery is relational and what motivates me in my work is radical acceptance – I want to change the systems we live in so that all forms of diversity are supported, accepted, and honoured.

Before moving into this field, I freelanced as a business writer, doing marketing and desk top publishing in a variety of industries including, financial services, telecommunications, and the building industry.

Outside of work, I love spending time with my family and friends, going to see live music, musical theatre, and anything to do with design and architecture.
