This webinar explores the evidence based practice (research) and practice based evidence (clinician/client experience) in support of working with clients ‘in recovery’.
What does recovery based practice mean and what does it look like?
Using case studies based on research and lived experience, this webinar:
- compares and contrasts definitions of recovery
- provides evidence in support of the concept ‘in recovery’
- examines what it means to work under a recovery based practice umbrella.

Presenter
Dr Naomi Crafti is a Senior Research/Education Fellow at Turning Point where she manages the Workforce Development area. With a background in counselling psychology, Naomi has a particular interest in counselling approaches (that work), client engagement, the client/clinician relationship and recovery.

Naomi also co-facilitates a unit on recovery in the Master of Addictive Behaviours.
