Big Feels @ Work is a 5-part audio resource for mental health professionals dealing with their own 'big feelings'. The program is made by The Big Feels Club, an online peer support community, and is free to do in April thanks to funding from Department of Health and Human Services.

So you work in mental health. You’re a clinician, or a support worker. A manager, or a policy worker. But you don’t just work in mental health. You’ve got your own personal stuff going on too (whether or not your colleagues know about it.)

And sometimes it’s a lonely path.

You feel like you’re supposed to have all the answers (and you know you really don’t). You hear the way your colleagues talk about ‘people like you’. And you maybe even catch yourself wondering... am I really cut out for this?

How does it work?

Five, 20-minute audio episodes, each one aims to help you tackle a different aspect of the ‘work + big feels’ equation - and to help you feel a little less alone in the process.
1: Does everyone else find work this hard?
2: Does the work affect us differently, because of our own big feels?
3: Am I cut out for this job, or am I total fraud?
4: Why do we do this work, even when it hurts?
5: How do I keep my job when I am losing my sh**?

Listen to one, or listen to ‘em all. And if you’re up for it, try the optional homework task set at the end of select episodes.
