Description

Systemic issues that impact on managing people with intellectual disability and co-morbid mental disorders are considered and include topics such as human rights, legislation, professional factors as well as service structure and delivery. This includes a review of the ethical issues that may arise in the course of management.

All these workshops employ a variety of learning strategies including lectures, exercises and discussions based on case examples. Attendees are expected to actively contribute and participate.

The workshops can be delivered locally on request (if there are sufficient numbers).
