Conducting comprehensive assessments, and developing case formulations for adults from refugee backgrounds who have experienced torture and other traumatic eventsThis event will cover:
- key domains to be explored in a comprehensive assessment
- consideration of survivor’s developmental needs and cultural perspectives, using a bio-psycho-social approach
- how to undertake a comprehensive assessment to identify survivor’s therapeutic needs
- creating a case formulation, based on a comprehensive assessment, that informs the selection of relevant evidence-informed inter
