Provides practitioners with the knowledge and skills required to facilitate trauma-informed, culturally safe and responsive therapeutic group work with survivors of trauma from refugee backgrounds

This event will cover:

The application of therapeutic factors in the running of psychotherapy group
Understanding a framework to develop and facilitate psychotherapeutic groups
Stages of group processes and group dynamics
Relevant theoretical frameworks
Foundation House’s Trauma Recovery Framework

Practitioners with counselling backgrounds who facilitate psychotherapeutic groups and those interested in advancing into this area of practice
