Description

Mental and behavioural problems due to psychoactive substance use (incl alcohol, opioids, benzodiazepines, GHB, stimulants and tobacco) are common. Substance misuse is also frequently seen in people with severe mental illness. This session will cover common Psychotropic medicines management for acute intoxication, dependence syndrome, withdrawal states, and acute/late-onset substance-related mental and behavioural disorders.
