Description

Suitable for Community Health and Mental Health practitioners, this training provides an opportunity to recognise and reflect on interactions with male clients who use family violence.
Of exceptional value is the exploration of the issues through the more contemporary understanding of coercive control. The training provides tools to engage and invite men using family violence to begin an important journey of change. Engaging men who use family violence is critical to linking this high-risk client group to specialist services like the Men’s Referral Service and referral pathways that support the behavioural change process.
