A half day interactive workshop aimed at education about mental illness and suicide; providing skill development to allow people to confidently respond when they encounter people in distress. A course for anyone wanting to understand mental illness and learn how to respond to people who may be experiencing distress.This event will cover:

- General impacts of mental illness
- History and stigma
- Understanding suicide
- Communication skills
- The mental health service system
