Included is an outline of legal precepts including the Mental Health Act 2014 and its implications for practice, documents, scope of practice of registered and enrolled nurses and the legal and ethical principles of nursing practice.
This course is suitable for nurses working in mental health services or with mental health consumers and for nurses considering working in the emergency department mental health and AOD hubs.
