Description

Approx 3 hours of self paced learning, prior to a live online workshop. Identify and understand complex mental health presentations in the refugee context, to support the recovery of survivors of torture and other traumatic events.

This event will cover:

  • Recognising complex presentations and complex post-traumatic stress
  • Understanding the complexity of cultural factors and facilitating engagement
  • Understanding the knowledge base regarding evidence-based therapeutic modalities relevant to treatment
