Description

The 16 Days of Activism against Gender-Based Violence is a global initiative designed to galvanise individuals, communities and organisations to address gender inequalities, gender-based violence and take action to prevent violence before it starts.

This year’s theme is Respect Women: Call it Out (Respect Is).

The 2015 Royal Commission into Family Violence saw mental health services implementing new reforms to reduce the impact of family violence including the introduction of the MARAM.

This panel discussion will provide you with the opportunity to hear from a Psychiatrist, Dual Diagnosis Clinician and Nurse, Allied Health clinician and a Mental Health Specialist Family Violence Advisor about how they address family violence in their work.

At the end of this discussion there will be an opportunity to ask the panel your questions.
