I have been a mental health nurse for over 35 years, working in both public and private settings, and have spent the past 18 years in mental health workforce development.

My PhD focused on clinical governance, knowledge and policy translation, communication, and leadership.

In my role as Director of the CMHL, I provide strategic oversight and direction for all CMHL operations, ensuring that the work of the CMHL is grounded in and informed by sector needs.

I believe that embedding lived experience in all aspects of mental health workforce development is key to shaping positive practice culture, and I am passionate about supporting the development of others.

On a personal note, I am a mother of two, nana of one, wife, footy fan, and an avid reader of crime fiction.
